EMEDEX is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the global promotion and advancement of emergency medicine, disaster management and public health. We provide and develop these services through the provision of educational, research and exchange programs between SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in New York City, other US emergency departments, and hospitals around the world. EMEDEX is dedicated to promoting excellence in education, to improving channels of communication, and to fostering international exchange between emergency healthcare providers in diverse health settings and environments.
