Dr. Arif Alper Cevik is presently the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at the prestigious Eskisehir Osmangazi University Medical Center. As one of the first graduates of Emergency Medicine in Turkey ever, he has immediately explored the potential and benefits of international exchange as a form of improving care in his home country. After completing an International Emergency Medicine fellowship at Penn State University Milton S. Hershey Medical center he became a founding member of EMEDEX and has also established an International Emergency Medicine Program at his institution. Dr. Cevik has been very influential in the improvement of Emergency Care in his country and abroad.
